Message	I could of sworn that VTEC was first introduced into the Honda line through the 91 Acura NSX after using it racing. I think it was in their Indy-style cars. Then they were introduced years later as the technology got cheaper, now they're in everything. VTEC uses both intake and exhaust where as our vvt is intake only. Honda advertised their VTEC heavily in the 91 while Nissan quietly added it to the 90 Z. Now that's respectable.
